This ones for the birds!

This was for a christmas card project where we weren't allowed to use any religious or 'christmas-like' imagery. I don't think this resonates christmas in a traditional sense with the exception of colour choice nor does it really illuminate the fact that the birds are lit up to look like christmas lights THAAT great - BUT - the final product looks really neat in real life (though the colours are definitely off in this scan). Aesthetically speaking - I'm really excited as to where things are going - still fighting a little in this picture with certain details but like I say I'm REALLY EXCITED.
Here is a better scanned version!Lazy-man scan version.
Larger Version Here!
Ps. Why cant I post up photos where you click them and they get bigger? This picture file is like 1 megabyte - shouldn't it just work automatically? If someone can provide me with some insight as to how I should be formatting my files or whatever beforehand so they work I'd love to know! Thanks!!

This looks great, read the lights thing immediately. Great job... again.

I think the problem is either with the code that you're using in your layout or the way you post them on blogger. I remember i had the same thing happen to me once but i just deleted and re posted and it was fixed. You should try changing the layout and make a test post to see if it works. I really don't think its your image formats.

Looks terrific. I like the theme. We always notice more blue jays and cardinals outside of our window in the winter. They're easier to see. So it works as a winter theme for me.

I think the trick with blogger is to save them in Photoshop using "save for web". But don't shrink the file's dimensions very much.

If you want to keep the file size down, you'll have to sacrifice some quality: it varies, but maybe 75% out of 100%? Not lower than 60%.

Once you bring it into Blogger, it should work. Click to enlarge.
